All 5 proposals for workshops at the 2017 SLE meeting that are (co-)organized by IVS members were accepted:
- Francesco Gardani (UZH), Rik van Gijn (UZH), Stefan Dedio (UZH), Florian Sommer (UZH), Manuel Widmer (UZH) & Florian Matter (U Bern): Matter borrowing vs pattern borrowing in morphology. 
- Damián E. Blasi​ (UZH and MPI-SHH) & Jekaterina Mazara (UZH) and Sabine Stoll (UZH): First language acquisition in the languages of the world.
- Anja Hasse (U Surrey), Rik van Gijn (UZH), Tania Paciaroni (UZH) & Sandro Bachmann (UZH): Niches in morphology. 
- Dan Dediu (MPI Nijmegen),  Steven Moran (UZH) & Antonio Benítez-Burraco (U Huelva): Non-linguistic causes of linguistic diversity.
- Martine Bruil (CNRS, Paris), Bert Cornillie (KU Leuven) & Manuel Widmer (UZH): Rethinking Evidentiality.
