State of the art on Source-Goal (a)symmetries across languages: paper by Marine Vuillermet and colleague

From a logical point of view, the Source and the Goal of motion are symmetrical notions in that the Source is "the entity of place from which something moves, and the Goal is "the entity of place towards which something moves". However, inequality between the Source and the Goal has been reported under various names (allative bias, goal bias, goal-over-source principle, source-goal asymmetry) and attracted great attention in linguistics, psycholinguistics as well as in cognitive sciences.
