25.02.2022"Plot of the month" series funded by GRC Short Grant

Nour Efrat-Kowalsky, Stefan Dedio and Christian Ebert received a GRC Short Grant for the "Plot of the month" club, a series of courses on data visualization with R. The series is aimed at junior researchers, providing support to bridge the gap between simplified textbook problems and actual research. Fellow junior researchers are guiding through the creation of publishable plots step-by-step, with hands-on examples and background information on the underlying analysis and interpretation of the results. This series will contribute to the discussion on best practices of scientific communication, data presentation, and reproducibility. To foster communication and cooperation, each course is followed by an apéro with snacks, and an open co-working session to work on individual problems in small groups.
