04.05.2020Dagmar Jung receives 4-year grant to continue work with Dene

Together with Olga Lovick (University of Saskatchewan), Mark Klein (Clearwater River Dene School) and Allison Lemaigre (Clearwater River Dene School), Dagmar Jung was awarded a grant by the Canadian Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC). The successful grant Talking Dene: documenting language and change in two Northern Saskatchewan communities enables the researchers and educators to continue looking at Dene Sųłiné language variation across the generations. The project will start later this year.
